The big hoo haa about the new episode to hit Drop Out this April is now out, but before we begin raving about it we have some more good news for our users! Our tech freak has just finished working on the latest version of 360 Web Browser.
We are super happy to let everyone know that the new version of 360 will not only be faster but also have a couple of new features that everyone was waiting for. The slowness issue with browsing in iOS 5 has been solved! I will be doing a separate post about everything 360 in a couple of days so stay tuned for that.
Coming back to The Drop Out, we have decided that the newest addition to the episodes will be called Lab Science. It will bring 30 more fun filled levels to everyone with the game and 2 new crazy objects to add to the excitement! With this next update the total number of levels in Drop Out will go up to 150 and we’re not planning to stop just here ;).
Today we will discuss one of the objects a.k.a the mischievously helpful teleporter. They will be placed strategically in sets of 2 for entry/exit motion. The teleporters are designed in a very fluid way thanks to our crazy scientist. In short, the direction and speed of the Boo will be maintained as you fling them. Although teleporters are there to make your play simple and fun, don’t be fooled because the zombie furries are up to no good. They have managed to switch the teleporters, so look twice before you fling. Teleporters are multi directional i.e. they will work in both directions but will transfer with teleporters of the same color bands only. Well, to simplify just refer to the image below.

The inspiration for the design of the teleporter was taken from jet turbines. We wanted to make the teleporters look different from the normal glowy aura circley things :p and this idea came across pretty naturally for us. It was like all of us went ‘Those things that aircrafts have!’ at the same time. As we worked on it more in detail, things became much more clear and this is how the design looked at first.

Programming the teleporter was also a challenge as the direction and speed would have to be precise but our dev nailed it just right. Building the 5th Episode has been really fun for us and work on it is still on full throttle. Everybody will be able to download the update by late April. Until then stay tuned for more info on our crazy creations. Seeya!

Looks very very awesome. I like the direction in which you guys are headed. A skip level option or something like that would be nice! I can’t stop playing it.
Can’t wait for the update!
